What are you dreaming for?

I took a walk a few nights ago while listening to Terry Savelle Foy speak about dreaming bigger with God. Oh my goodness did she spark something in my heart. I came home reignited and ready to get more intentional with believing for greater things. After all my word for the year is RECEIVE.

“Until now you have not asked for anything in My Name... Ask and you will receive so that your joy may be complete”
— John 16:24

Our summer months allow for more time at home and a slower pace with life that always give room for birthing new dreams. My favorite farm guy and I have time to take longer walks together and when we do, we always begin to dream for what could be next.

Do they do that for you too?

“Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”
— Habakkuk 2:2-3

Here’s a greenhouse and garden area framework I’m envisioning us to build at the farm.

So I have spent the last few days quietly thinking and praying about some big, God-sized dreams tucked inside my heart that I believe He is asking me to write down and trust Him to bring to life. I’ve been on a gentle quest to find a few extraordinary pictures and glimpses that might help me better envision the deepest longings within my soul—those things I hope God might one day choose to give me.

Because here’s something I was reminded with from Terri’s message.

If you can’t see what you’re dreaming for, you’re liable to lose your way and go off course from all that God has for you. When we put the vision, the dream, in front of us, we can clearly run toward it.

What God has for you is bigger than you can do on your own.
