From my heart to yours
Every once in a while, God gives me words to write and when He does—they end up here.
Summer Days
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light”
Dear Summer,
We’re so glad you’ve come. In years past, our summer days have been some of our favorites because of the freedom they provide and the extra time together as a family around the farm.
We have no doubt our new home will be a space for continued dreaming and adventuring for all of us.
From riding on backroad trails to picking wild flowers along the pastures, we promise to slow down long enough to cherish each gift this season has to offer us.
You have so much good to give.
May we live with a sacred rhythm that gently soothe our soul and draws us back to remembrance again and again. Fill us with a carefree, childlike wonder that continually reminds us we were created for joyful adventure with our loving God.
With the closing sunsets, may we have hearts of gratitude for all He’s done for us.
Here’s to the best summer — ever.
