The In Between

“He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.”
— Daniel 2:21 BSB

Almost everyday I’m reminded of it.

The fact that I’m caught in the middle of two seasons right now in so many ways and there’s abslutely nothing I can do about it except for recieve it.

There’s no speeding things up when you’re in the middle and there’s no slowing things down either. And that can be a hard pill to swallow if you’re wired to go like I am.

Over and over I’ve asked the Lord to lead me to what’s next to build. And over and over again all that I sense is that I’m supposed to be resting and practicing selfcare. I know He’s preparing me for something, but I’m not sure what that may be.

Being a good steward of resting and preparing, I have been ultra intentional with my nutrition and exercise. Everyday that goes by, I get a little stronger and little more dialed in on the goals that I’ve put in place to end this year in the best health of my life.

I wonder if sometimes God has to wait to give us a new dreams or assignments until we’re fully ready to carry the load they will require. I remember feeling that way years ago when I was preparing to launch The 1M Project.

Maybe the Lord is waiting for you to take better care of yourself too. Maybe you’ve neglected things for too long?

I’m just sensing that — What worked in the past, won’t work going forwad which is why I must change things right about now.

For the first time in my life, I’m lifting weights, taking supplements, and watching my calorie intake and I didn’t know I was capable of any of this.

Friends—The longer the in between, the more prepared we can be.

If God is nudging you, listen to Him. He’s got so much more He wants to entrust you with. <3
